I tried doing something completely different this time. One of my teachers once said “Less is more”, so I did just that. I’m actually quite pleased with the result, it’s nice to experiment :)

It's been such a long while both since I posted something here, and since I last drew something for Illustration Friday... so, here it is :)

Corbulis

I had a strange dream this past night about these black little creatures called Corbulis, that I apparently kept as companions while traveling through the universe together... very weird, but fun and kind of inspiring :)

I Googled a bit, and apparently "Corbulis" is a species of butterfly which looks nothing like those dark critters... :P
